Chart notes
GOLDEN ROCKET settled on the inside, was roused while swinging four wide into the stretch, bumped soundly with DREAM CENTRAL at the three-sixteenths, rallied outside under the crop in the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late. ROYAL DANCER was reserved on the inside, moved closer on the far turn, shifted three wide while asked at the quarter-pole, rallied to the lead just inside the furlong marker, led to the final strides but was denied while able to get the place. BUSY MORNING bobbled slightly at the start, was taken in hand while showing towards the front early, settled in the two path while well behind the runaway leader, moved closer on the far turn, was roused nearing the five-sixteenths, came inward into upper stretch then was corrected by the rider, took a short lead outside the furlong marker, lost the advantage to the runner-up just inside that marker, fought on into the final sixteenth but was outfinished while able to hold the show. DREAM CENTRAL settled off the pace in the two path, was roused near the five-sixteenths then came between horses, swung five wide into the stretch, bumped soundly with the winner at the three-sixteenths and finished willingly but missed the show. ROBYN AND ELI broke a step slow, settled towards the rear on the inside, was roused at the three-eighths, passed the five-sixteenths in hand while behind horses, was roused again while off the hedge shortly thereafter, came five wide into the stretch then moved in around the three-sixteenths and improved position. HOWDYOUMAKEURMONEY sped to the front then went clear early, opened up while inside to the two path around the first turn, extended the advantage down the backstretch, saw the lead shorten while inside on the far turn, was collared outside the furlong marker and gave way. EROS'S GIRL bumped with a foe just after the start, tucked into the two path on the first turn, settled at the rear, was roused three wide on the far turn, moved out some in upper stretch and failed to threaten. TARA DANCER bumped with an opponent just after the break, went three wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, traveled three wide around the far turn and failed to respond.
