Chart notes
DIALING DIXIE showed good early speed to set all the pace along the inside and held gamely in the drive remain clear under steady pressure. PANNA MINE chased the early pace while being coaxed along early, moved up four wide through the far turn and could not get by the winner in the drive to finish second best. HOWARD'S ROCK was coaxed along the inside, continued its run from the inside at the quarter pole and had not enough for the top pair in the drive. UNCOMMON VALOR was void of early speed, raced three wide near the quarter pole, angled out through the lane to race from the outside and moved up late. JOHNNY SWISH stalked the early pace, raced three wide through the far turn and weakened the final furlong. FRANCIS X. tracked Dialing Dixie down the backstretch while racing just off the inside, ridden along nearing the three eighths pole and weakened in the stretch run. NEVER SILENCED was hustled early, checked near the half mile, lost ground, raced near the inside and had no late response. BANDFROMTHEBAR hopped at the break, raced at the back of the pack early and trailed.
