Chart notes
EXCELLORATOR stalked the pace, raced two wide near the quarter pole, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole, shifted in to race near the rail and finished well get up under strong handling. UNCLE IRISH showed good early speed to set the early pace, was clear near the inside and gave way grudgingly late. IYWAAN rated in the early stages, moved up four wide near the quarter pole, angled out to race from the outside in the drive and finished willingly to the wire. DIXIE DRAWL was off a step slow, chased the pace from the inside, shifted out through the stretch run, jockey misjudged wire to ease up before the wire. PIT BOSS settled off the early pace, raced three wide through the far turn, raced five to six wide into the upper stretch and flattened out. CARIBBEAN (AUS) was forwardly placed to lay up close early, raced four to three wide through the stretch run and weakened. MAXIMUM IMPACT was off a step slow, raced near the inside around the far turn and never threatened. TATTOOED raced three wide near the quarter pole, angled out and failed to respond.
