SHE'S FIRE AND ICE vied for the lead leaving the first turn and continued with a slight edge through the backstretch, took on the challenge from HOPING FOR A RING midway around the far turn, saved ground into the lane, held a slim lead, dug in gamely in final strides and prevailed under a driving finish. HOPING FOR A RING tracked the pace through early stages, moved up to challenge SHES FIRE AND ICE midway around the far turn, lost some ground on rival turning for home, dug back in determinedly, edged ahead and just missed. DARLENE STRONG vied for the early lead then flattened into the far turn, saved ground into the lane and held show. EUTYCHIA rated off the early pace, coaxed three wide around the far turn, came four wide into the lane and just missed show. TAKE ME AS I AM was forwardly placed around the first turn, vied for the lead through the backstretch, flattened mid-way around the far turn and continued to tire in the drive. SOCIAL CIRCLE failed to move into contention.
