INFORMATIVE raced five wide on the first turn, vied five wide in a heavily contested pace scenario, dueled past the half mile marker, dueled with HIGHLY MOTIVATED passing the quarter pole, dug in gamely outside in the stretch run, wore down that rival at the sixteenth marker and edged away for a clear victory. HIGHLY MOTIVATED raced four wide on the clubhouse turn, vied four wide for the lead, dueled on the far turn, led into the stretch, dug in gamely inside of INFORMATIVE in the stretch drive and yielded grudgingly.
