GODDESS OF FIRE went two then three wide around the first turn, was rated on the outside, shifted further out under guidance near the five-eighths, was asked in the four path early on the far turn, moved to five then six wide later on that bend, floated eight wide into the stretch and tired. SKRATCH KAT dropped back along the rail early, settled on the inside towards the rear, was asked with a half-mile to run, saved ground under urging early on the far turn, moved to the two path around the five-sixteenths, came three wide into the stretch, remained on her inside lead until inside the three-sixteenths then swapped to the proper lead and failed to threaten. GERRYMANDER was taken in hand while forwardly placed early, tugged at the bit into the first turn, saved ground around that bend, was rated in the two path down the backstretch, drafted in good striking position while remaining in the two path around the far turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, pursued the winner under a drive into upper stretch and came up empty. NOSTALGIC stumbled at the start then bumped with a foe and was off a bit slow, tucked into the two path down the initial straightaway, was reserved at the rear, came under urging in the two path early on the far turn, moved to the three path around the five-sixteenths, spun four wide into the stretch under a drive and failed to respond. SHE'S KEEN was coaxed to the front, dropped from the two path to the rail around the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was asked under heavy threat near the three-eighths, lost the advantage to the winner outside the five-sixteenths, dropped back into the stretch and stopped.
