Chart notes

HI HO CHEERIO chased the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, raced in the three and four path around the turn, launched a bid entering the stretch and edged clear late. ONE SON OF A CHIEF tracked the frontrunners on the inside through the opening quarter of a mile, navigated the turn from the two and three path, dueled in upper stretch and was outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth of a mile. CANDY COVE dueled on the inside up the backstretch, continued to battle while saving ground around the turn and into the lane and was outfinished near the wire. TEXAS LONG BOW dueled for the lead on the outside in the early going, battled from the two path around the turn and weakened in late stretch. RELEASE THE BEAST bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, trailed the field up the backstretch, raced in the three path around the turn and passed tiring horses in the lane. MAY WE ALL bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in two path and made no bid. PERFECT WAGER raced off the pace on the inside early, began a bid while saving ground around the turn and flattened out nearing the quarter pole.
