RYE SENSE OF HUMOR bobbled at the break, raced three wide early, then stalked two wide, bid between rivals at the half mile marker, took over on the far turn, responded when roused, pulled away and was ridden out. PRINCE OF CAPS set the pace on the inside, dueled into the far turn, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and earned the place spot. DOUBLE DAVID broke out bumping a rival at the start, raced four wide early, stalked three wide, chased on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and weakened. PANADERO was bumped at the start, trailed the field, advanced inside on the far turn, came three wide into the lane and lacked a rally. CONFECTIONER tracked on the inside, then chased and tired.
