FAKE SOLUTION was unhurried in early stages then edged closer late on the backstretch, launched a three wide bid midway around the far turn, cleared command at the quarter pole, widened advantage in upper stretch and held clear under steady pressure. APOLLO BAY was allowed to settle off the early pace and saved ground up the backstretch, edged closer then tipped three wide approaching the quarter pole, sustained bid into the lane and finished clearly second best. DREAMER'S DELIGHT rated off the clear top pair up the backstretch, moved into closer contention and chased three to four wide around the turn, came five wide into the lane and prevailed for a share. TEQUILA was well reserved racing in the back, swung four wide into the lane and narrowly missed show. LUCKS BIG BOY was forwardly placed racing just off the early leader, hustled along two wide around the far turn then tired in the drive. CLEARLY MAD sped to the lead at the start and set the pace up the backstretch, got collared by the winner midway around the far turn and steadily retreated.
