Chart notes
QUARTERMASTER unhurried in the early going, saved ground on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the lane, then closed well and edged up late. STRAIGHTOUTADUTTON set the pace on the inside, shook clear through the turn, drew off in the lane, then was no match for the winner late and held the place. CLOUD PLAY void of speed, saved ground through the turn, came through inside into the stretch, then steadied for racing room inside the furlong marker, angled out and could not gain. K C ROCKET tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then drifted out and weakened. SPIRITED SOL never far back, held position three and four wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and weakened. HOLIDAY HOUSE well placed and outside, lost some ground three and four wide through the turn, then faded into the stretch. BLAKENSTEIN rated close up, faded three wide through the turn.
