PADDY'S DADDY rated back in the early going, gained position on the two path through the second turn, angled in and came through inside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and drove clear late. CLAW set the pace off the rail, stayed on when challenged into the stretch and held the place under steady pressure. BOOMIN GOOSE well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane and flattened out. C THE KING ran evenly. CASTLE KING was a brief factor.
