Chart notes
DAIGLE took over the lead soon after the start and angled inside to save ground, set the pace up the backstretch and held firm around the far turn, widened to a commanding margin in the upper stretch and kept to task under steady urging. ALL NATIVE was allowed to settle out of the gate and saved ground around the first turn, edged closer late on the backstretch then angled out and picked up the tempo late on the far turn, sustained a steady bid for the leader through the lane and lasted for place. GOLDEN GOPHER raced two wide around the first turn and tracked the pace up the backstretch, launched a three to four wide bid at the head of the lane and just missed place. SPEEDY ENOUGH was forwardly placed around the first turn and stalked the leader up the backstretch, hustled along two wide around the final turn, sustained bid into upper stretch then weakened in the final furlong. BRAHMS IS WHO rated two wide up the backstretch, hustled along four wide into the lane and failed to move on. REINA DEL SUR was unhurried, saved ground and retreated through the lane.
