I KICKN vied for the lead up the backstretch, shook free entering the turn, continued with a clear advantage a furlong out and held late under a driving finish. AMERICAN UNION tracked the top flight in the opening quarter, saved ground around the turn, came two wide into the lane and was getting to the winner late. FIRERY TALE chased between foes up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, tipped three wide for the drive and stayed on with response. STORMIN HONGKONG was reserved racing in the back, picked up the pace late on the turn, was ridden two to three wide into the lane and had a mild improve. LIBERTARIAN picked up the pace four wide around the turn, swung five wide into the lane and offered no late bid. SIDE STREET DAVE raced in contention soon after the start, chased three wide around the turn then tired in the drive. ROAMING UNION vied for the lead in opening stages, chased up close around the turn then retreated in the lane.
