Chart notes
NOW HOOK'EM dueled from the half mile pole, took the nod leaving the three eighths and dug in under steady stretch handling to hold on. REMYS GUNSMOKE steadied leaving the chute then gave chase past the half mile pole, rounded the turn off the rail, eased to the five path leaving the turn, then dueled through the stretch for second. MR CHANCE ROMANCE gave chase through the backstretch, was carried out into the lane then outfinished in the duel for second. ENTRY TIME gave chase, rounded the turn in the five and six paths, left the turn widest and finished strong. STRONG FIBER pressured the pace between horses through the backstretch, but dropped back at the rail past the eighth pole and weakened. CATS DIAMOND BOY set the early pace inside, was met leaving the three eighths pole and faded at the rail on the turn.
