Chart notes
POPPY'S C NOTE was unhurried early, moved closer on the turn racing along the inside, angled out nearing the eighth pole and was up with a rush in the final strides. UNION BLISS vied with Keep on Danzing for the lead from along the inside, opened clear after six furlongs, responded when asked and just failed to last. PEQUENO MONTE dropped back early, moved up on the turn while racing two-wide, split rivals during the drive and finished fast. BENNY THE JET saved ground stalking the pace, angled out four-wide for room nearing the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. KEEP ON DANZING dueled for the lead for six furlongs from along the outside and tired. INQUISITION lacked early speed and failed to menace.
