Chart notes
LOOSE BALL dropped back early, moved up along the inside on the turn, angled out nearing the eighth pole and finished fast to be up in the final strides. ATLATL was unhurried early, moved closer racing along the inside on the turn, angled out to be four-wide entering the stretch and finished strongly. SENOR FABULOSO was forwardly placed racing along the inside, slipped through to take the lead nearing the quarter pole, opened a clear advantage but wasn't quite good enough. MARKSMAN ON TARGET raced three-wide and lacked a rally. TOO TALL TO CALL went to the front at once, saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out leaving the quarter pole and tired. OCTAVIUS PRIME stalked the pace for six furlongs while racing two-wide and gave way. LAGO DE ORO was prominently placed while racing three-wide, came six-wide into the stretch and lacked a response.
