Chart notes
LIGHTNING TONES settled off the early pace outside, advanced under urging four wide around the far turn, steadily gained outside and was up and clear late. EL DE LEO stalked the pace three wide, reached near even terms near the quarter pole, continued on the left lead in the lane, vied past the sixteenth pole and was second best late. R ADIOS JOE stalked the pace from the rail, bid inside of foes in midstretch and was outkicked. OPEN CARRY chased the pace three and four wide and lacked the needed rally. SWAN LAKE set the pace in the two path and tired in the drive. POUNCIVAL was outrun inside. PURE OF HEART played no factor while racing three wide. TICO G was outrun while racing two wide.
