Chart notes
SOCIAL CHIC stalked off the rail, bid nearing the three eighths pole and closed to striking position three wide approaching the head of the lane, drifted out past the eighth pole then lugged in while taking the lead across the path of FANCY CONCHO mid-stretch, dug in under steady handling from that point and held on. FANCY CONCHO settled off the pace about the three path, started a bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced close four wide on the far turn, was shut off leaving the eighth pole then again mid-stretch, but came again late yards. SHY GUY settled back about the three path the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and finished well while gaining on the top two. CANDY INVASION saved ground racing well back from early contention, bid nearing the three eighths pole, improved in the four and five paths of the far turn and finished well; outside. HERO'S MAN took a quick lead and rated the pace, was met into the backstretch and dueled from that point to put River Crosroad RVF away midway on the far turn, but was caught leaving the turn and weakened inside the sixteenth pole. NO CHANGE tapered in and stalked two deep, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole and took a brief lead three wide leaving the quarter pole, but gave up the advantage past the eighth pole and flattened the final sixteenth. C R'S MANDATE saved ground and showed little response through the backstretch. RIVER CROSROAD RVF stalked the early pace from the three path, drew to even terms two deep into the backstretch and dueled close from that point, but dropped back midway on the far turn and weakened into the lane. BOASTER raced well back in the three path the first turn and never factored. The Stewards reviewed a claim of foul against the rider of Social Chic for interference leaving the far turn and again mid-stretch, lodged by the rider of Fancy Concho, and as a result, disqualified the former to second place.
