BANKIT brushed the outside of the gate at the start, dropped into the two to three path around the first turn, settled at the rear while just behind the other two contestants, stalked four wide on the far turn, was given his cue at the five-sixteenths, moved to the five path outside the quarter-pole, was driven six wide into the stretch, pursued the winner while outside into the final furlong and proved no match while weakening but was clear for second money. JERRY THE NIPPER was hustled to the front, vied in the two path around the first turn, floated out entering the backstretch, showed the way while inside of a rival, vied inside that foe while in the three path on the far turn, was asked at the five-sixteenths after losing the lead, dropped back at the quarter-pole then moved out into upper stretch and tired.
