Chart notes
LEELOO was hustled from the start, pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, drew even at the seven-sixteenths, took the lead while three then four wide around the turn, shook clear five wide into the stretch, came under a right-handed crop while powering away outside the furlong marker, had the rider put his crop away outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a brisk hand ride before being eased up in the final few strides. AUNT VIRGINIA stumbled at the start and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, went around the turn in the two path, turned into upper stretch under a drive and finished well to safely secure the place. PATRIA went to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead at the three-eighths, dropped back into the stretch. came out briefly outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened but held the show. SILVER FIST was coaxed along between horses, dropped back late on the backstretch then moved in, dropped from the two path to the rail on the turn, chased into upper stretch, was taken up off heels outside the sixteenth-pole when leaning in a touch while PATRIA came out and tired. LISA'S VISION was well spotted just off the pace while inside of an opponent, chased two to three wide around the turn and came up empty. QUEENS DANCER chased the pace down the backstretch, went four wide on the turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and capitulated. TRINITY TITOLI was hustled from the start then urged along off the pace, moved from the rail to the three path early on the turn, came four wide into the stretch and failed to respond. BLAME IT ON MARY was forwardly placed on the outside, chased five wide around the turn, was driven six wide into the stretch and had nothing left. CAPTIVATING CARA was urged along on the outside, went four then five wide on the turn and was no factor.
