Chart notes
GOLD COAST GIRL was reserved early, advanced two wide on the turn and swung out three wide leaving the turn and made a bid and edged clear to prove best under a drive. SHINY TOY broke inward at the start, settled and saved ground on the turn, then finished well on the inside to gain the place award. FLY ROBYN FLY was away alertly to set the early pace and was pressed from the inside early, then made a bid to draw clear on the turn, then drifted out in the lane and weakened, lost place award late. MANGATA MIST pressed the pace from the inside, checked around the seven sixteenths, then got out on the turn and weakened. SIGNATURE COLORS tracked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn and then was empty. MUCH ABOUT ONE was not a factor.
