EYES ON THE KING broke in and bumped MINDNIGHT ONYX inward at the start, raced in range three wide, closed outside, seized command near the sixteenth pole an powered clear. DEPOLI was in tight at the start, made a strong four wide move around the turn, took over near the five-sixteenths pole, continued on the left lead in the lane, led to the sixteenth pole and held on for the place. DELLACROCE set the pace along the rail, was collared nearing the five-sixteenths pole and fought on inside to hold a slice. PRUDENCIO was in range inside, was in tight and a bit green leaving the half-mile pole, raced two wide around the turn, angled out in upper stretch and passed tiring rivals. CADDY MAN chased the pace inside and lacked a closing bid. MIDNIGHT ONYX was bumped at the start, prompted the pace two wide and tired through the lane. CLASSIC BOURBON was off a bit slow and outrun while racing three wide. CAROLO was off very poorly and trailed throughout.
