COST AVERAGE was well handled while inside, was challenged turning for home then dropped back off the pace, was roused under strong urging and responded with a strong surge to be along in time in the final strides. MAGAZINE STREET was allowed to settled while inside on the backstretch, rallied and moved out to be three wide for the stretch drive, was gaining ground and finished strong but was second best. CLIFF DIVER stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, rallied on the far turn and was in a hard drive to take command in mid stretch but hung in late stretch. BLURT was allowed to settled while inside, made a mild rally while four wide in the stretch but was no threat in the end. TWENTYTWENTYREDO was allowed to settled while racing three wide on the backstretch then failed to menace in the stretch. DOC IRWIN was unhurried early then failed to menace.
