Chart notes
FEATHERS ROAD struck the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to close in tandem with a pair and was just up in the final strides to score. KREESA chased along the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, continued two to three wide for home, closed well in concert with a pair on the once clear leader and just missed at the end. EMPIRE SKY three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, closed well outside a pair to engulf the once clear leader in the last jumps to the finish and just missed on the line. FUOCO coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside, slipped away through the turn and took the inside route into upper stretch let out for the drive, drew clear under a drive to the eighth pole dug in under threat from a trio growing leg weary a sixteenth from home and was nailed in the last strides by all three and forced to settle for the last major share. RIPE FOR MISCHIEF hustled from the start, chased along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside for home, made headway with a mild bid to the finish on a weary leader but was outkicked. HEYMACKIT'SJACK two to three wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch and offered no response while appearing to make ground on a weary front. STEERAGE bumped at the start by SIR JOHN who broke outwards, chased three then two wide under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. SIR JOHN broke out at the start bumping STEERAGE, chased four wide until tucked to the two path into the turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three wide for home and made no impact.
