LUCINDA RELLA was away alertly to set a pressured pace on the inside, shook clear on the turn and then drew off leaving the turn and was ridden out to prove much the best. SHE SAID MY WAY was allowed to settle early, saved ground on the turn, then rallied well to gain the place award on the inside. DONTFORGETHESUGAR was allowed to settle early, then was three to four wide on the turn, angled in by the quarter pole and had no rally in the drive, bested rest. CALLIOPE SONG passed the tiring rivals. DAVENPORT pressed the winner three wide early and weakened the final quarter of a mile. FIRST TIME PLAYER was reserved early, then was four wide on the turn and was empty in the stretch.
