Chart notes
BOY HOWDY dueled outside the runnerup to the second turn, responded once in the stretch and inched away late. CADILLAC CHROME contested the pace inside the winner to the stretch, battled to the sixteenth then was outfinished. UNPOSSIBLE chased the top two, made his best bid three then four wide leaving the quarter pole to briefly loom a threat but flattened out in the drive. HAWK'S RISING hustled along in the early stages but had no speed and trailed throughout.
