Chart notes
MERZAZ stalked the pace four wide, slowly gained through the stretch and was up in the final strides. MAYOR REMO set the pace in the two path, took pressure around the far turn, inched back ahead in midstretch and led until the final strides. THORN stalked the pace in the three path, bid nearing the quarter pole, vied between rivals through the lane and was outfinished between the top two. GOLDEN INDY raced in range four and five wide, could not quicken with top finishers in upper stretch but stayed on widest. BYE BYE DAVID settled off the pace while racing two and three wide, angled to the rail in upper stretch and was one-paced through the final furlong. IN HONOR OF ARTIE failed to menace while racing four wide. DIVINE CONTROL chased the pace inside and had no response. SIR KAHN had his head turned at the start, saved ground and played no factor.
