Chart notes
CHECOTAH , in the two path chasing the pace around the turn, gained command near the eighth pole then drew out under a hand ride. CAPTAIN SAM sprinted to the lead mid way down the backstretch, was taken to the inner rail approaching the turn, remained along the rail and weakened the final furlong. DAT DARES GOLD , three wide around the turn, failed to rally.
