Chart notes
MELLMAN pressed the early pace, raced four wide through the turns, opened up at the quarter pole and held safe late. DUCK POND ROAD raced in mid pack early, advanced five wide through the second turn, was gaining late and finished second best. NO LIME was outrun early, went three wide into the second turn, angled in mid stretch, was closing late and needed more ground. ENGLISH LAUGHTER was allowed to settle early, raced six wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. LE GROS BILL was void of any early speed, from between rivals and finished belatedly. THIS CAT CAN FLY was unhurried early, raced seven wide through the second turn and never fired. OUT OF TUNE set a pressured early pace, raced off the rail into the turns and faded.
