Chart notes
SNIVELING was off a step slow, stalked the pace from the outside, moved up three to four wide through the lane and just got up under all out pressure. RIGHTANDJUST showed good early speed to lay up close with Buddy Reaux, dug in late from the rail and just missed in a game effort. BUDDY REAUX pressed the early leader from the outside, took a clear advantage into the upper stretch, raced between in the drive and finished willingly to the wire. FREDONIAN was allowed to settle early on, hard ridden near the three eighths pole, raced five wide through the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. TEXAS TITAN settled off the pace, raced near the inside at the quarter pole, shifted out to race from the inside in the drive and had no late rally. SUSAN STRONG stalked the pace from the outside, raced five to six wide through the upper stretch and failed to sustain a bid.
