Chart notes
IT'S BELLAMY TIME broke on top, set the pace in hand off the inside, widened command along the rail on the turn, began to drift out nearing the end of four furlongs, drifted to path five into the lane, added more of a gap on the others upper stretch, gradually drifted out the last furlong but held on. CITY POSITION raced in contention from inside, angled out three wide on the bend, lost considerable ground staying widest of all into the stretch, gained second inside the final eighth, found best stride too late but was clearly second best. AGAVE KID pressed IT'S BELLAMY TIME from just outside, also lost ground staying outside that one entering the lane and began to wear down midstretch. DEMAND RANSOM prominent toward the outside, faded four wide on the turn. DR. FORMAN a step slow at the break, saved ground through the bend and had no significant stretch bid.
