Chart notes
HIGHWAYTWENTYSEVEN was reserved early, advanced along the eight path through the stretch, was closing fast, struck the lead late stretch and surged clear. MARGARITA SUNRISE set a clear early pace, went four wide into the turn, couldn't sustain the run and finished second best. TRUE GOLD was allowed to settle early, raced three wide into the turn, angled in and finished with a mild late rally. MASSEY HALL was unhurried early, raced along the inside and finished evenly late. DREMAS BOY was taken back early, went seven wide into the turn and offered some late gain. SLEEPY JOE awkward start, was void of any early speed from the rail and finished belatedly. WINNING WITHHONOUR tracked the early pace while racing six wide and was empty late. DEAN VERDILE chased the early pace from between rivals and was finished early.
