Chart notes
M G M'S LUCKY saved ground setting the pressured pace, drifted out slightly entering the stretch, responded when challenged and was fully extended to just last. BLACK EYED BANDIT was allowed to settle in stretch, moved up four-wide on the turn, caught the leader in the stretch and then just missed in a stiff drive. PHANTOMOFTHEOPERE prompted the pace while racing three-wide, dropped back leaving the quarter pole, then responded to pressure and came again late to earn the show. TROUBLESOM NICK vied for the lead from along the outside into the stretch and weakened slightly late. TORRIE THE RAPPER was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch and was making up some ground late. LOPIN JOE dropped back early, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. JEWEL OF NAVARONE was never far back, moved through along the inside to offer a bid entering the stretch and then faltered during the drive. EMMYS SILVER dropped back early, saved ground and was not a factor. ZESTY JAZZMAN was forwardly placed to near the stretch and tired.
