Chart notes
SPIN CYCLE set a pressured pace and then dueled for the lead on the inside on the turn, then slowly edged away in the final sixteenth to prove best under a drive. SIR ROCKPORT pressed the winner and made a two wide bid on the turn to duel for command, but flattened out the final sixteenth, held place award. STONE SCULPTOR chased the early pace, then settled on the turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and closed well late. HESASMOKIN was off a half a step slow, then chased the pace three wide, then was two wide on the turn and had no late kick. TORAZO chased the pace on the inside and had no rally. IRONBOUND stalked the pace four wide and then was empty.
