Chart notes
GEORGEES SPIRIT bumped with a rival at the start and was off a half-step behind the body of the field, settled off the pace, went three wide on the turn, was put to a drive in upper stretch, tipped out a path inside the furlong marker and closed strongly to go past the embattled leaders late and prevail. SWEETLOU'SGOTACES broke in then hit the gate and was off a bit slow, was urged along on the outside, went four wide on the turn, gained to make an outside bid in upper stretch, dueled with COWICHAN into final sixteenth and got the best of that foe but was caught by the winner. COWICHAN (IRE) was forwardly placed on the outside, ranged up three wide on the turn, was given her cue near the quarter-pole, made a bid between horses in upper stretch, dueled with the runner-up into the final sixteenth and missed while able to get the show. UP AND DOWN broke a step behind the body of the field, was urged along off the pace, went three wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and improved position. TICKER TAPE HOME broke awkwardly then bumped with a foe and was taken up significantly, spotted the front several lengths, settled towards the rear, moved from the inside to the two path early on the turn, was roused coming to the quarter-pole, swung five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed kick. GUSTIAMO was well placed just off the pace, drafted inside on the turn, turned into upper stretch behind horses, was roused while moving out outside the furlong marker and came up empty. STARS ON FIRE (IRE) broke out at the start, pressed the pace on the outside then in the two path around the turn, gained a short lead into upper stretch, lost the advantage inside the three-sixteenths, dropped back inside the furlong marker and weakened. ILLICIT settled just off the pace, drafted in the two path around the turn, was put to a drive between foes in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. MORE THAN A DIVA broke a bit slow then was taken up significantly, spotted the front several lengths, settled at the rear, raced greenly around the half-mile pole, went four wide on the turn and failed to threaten. TELL ME WHEN showed good speed, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail under urging on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch and gave way.
