Chart notes
FRANKS DEHERE set a clear early pace, raced six wide into the turn, met the bid of SHIO, dueled briefly and edged clear. MCTHANKS was allowed to settle early, raced off the rail into the turn, was no match late and finished second best. COMET CAUSEY raced in mid pack early, advanced seven wide through the turn and was empty late. SHIO followed the early pace, ranged up to make a bid on the winner and flattened out. GOLDEN MERGER was unhurried early, went five wide into the turn, angled out to the eight path in the drive and offered no late rally. MCORO was void of any speed from off the rail and faded.
