CELTIC MISCHIEF came out early on and bothered multiple foes, vied for the lead from the inside, was steadied along the turn, raced in the four path into the lane, came back down the lane, made a three wide bid near the eighth pole, edged clear and held sway in the final stages. CAPE MARCO DRIVE was bothered early on, chased the pace, raced in the five path into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the late stages. MUTUAL CONFIDENCE stumbled badly at the start, chased into contention, made a bid nearing the lane, was in the four path entering the lane, led near the eighth pole under a long drive but yielded late. Z U AT THE RACES was bothered and steadied back early on, trailed the field, was in the six path into the lane with a late gain in the stretch run. BARBARINO set the pace early, was in the two path into the lane, under a long drive in the stretch and gave way late. DANZEL bobbled at the start then was bothered early on and soon folded up.
