Chart notes
SILVER KING BAIN saved ground setting the pace while racing in hand, responded when asked and maintained a safe advantage. AIN'T NO SISSY prompted the pace while racing two-wide, could not reach the winner but continued on gamely for the place. PEDAL TO THE METAL was forwardly placed while racing three-wide and continued on well for the show in a good effort. NEATAPAR dropped back early, angled to the outside of Knottywaters to come five-wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. KNOTTYWATERS gave way after showing brief speed from between horses.
