Chart notes
ANGEL'S ADVOCATE broke alertly and went to the early lead, set quick fractions while in hand through the turn, extended the lead in upper stretch and was ridden out in the final stages to be much the best. CIVIL SUIT tracked the quick early pace, gained ground three deep nearing the quarter marker, lost ground to the winner in upper stretch and just held for second over an oncoming rival. MARY MARGARET stumbled at the start and was off slowly, chased along the inside, angled out midway through the turn to go four wide into upper stretch, finished well in the end and just missed for second while clear of the rest for third. GET'EM TIGER tracked the quick early pace, lost ground to the winner along the turn and faded in the stretch drive. EXQUISITE LEGACY lacked early speed, lost position while three then four wide nearing the top of the lane and was not late factor. DADDYS NINA chased the quick pace from the inside through the turn, could not keep pace in upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
