Chart notes
THE SKIPPER TOO settled off the pace inside, tipped three wide nearing the quarter pole, split rivals in upper stretch, moved to the front leaving the eighth pole and drove clear. MORGAN POINT saved ground off the pace, angled five wide near the five-sixteenths pole and rallied to gain the place late. REDDINGTON set a pressured pace in the two path and weakened in the final furlong. HERCULES hit the starting gate, had speed between foes, was bumped near the three-quarters pole, angled out entering the turn, bid four wide nearing the quarter pole and faded in the lane. METEORITO pressed the pace outside, bumped with HERCULES near the three-quarters pole, chased three wide around the turn and came up empty in the lane. TRUSTING BOND failed to menace while racing two wide. STARSHIP ABRAHAM played no factor while racing three wide.
