Chart notes
CANDY KINGDOM raced off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, rallied on the rail in the stretch, closed well late and was up at the wire for the win. PRINCE OF CAPS tracked the leaders while saving ground, continued inside on the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, rallied three wide in the final furlong, dug in gamely to the finish and just missed. BIG RED ROCKS set the pace on the inside, shook free on the far turn, dug in gamely between rivals in the stretch run, yielded late and steadied slightly at the wire. UMBRAGE raced off the pace inside, saved ground on the far turn and rallied mildly on the rail in the stretch. HARD KNOCKING pressed the pace racing close up two wide, chased on the far turn, made a mild bid and then weakened. JO JO KATZ was outrun early, moved up at the quarter pole, came four wide into the lane and closed belatedly outside. DOUBLE DAVID raced close up three wide early, stalked the pace, chased three wide on the far turn and weakened. TEMPESTUOUS raced off the pace, chased on the far turn and failed to threaten. NEXT COWBOY UP raced two wide off the pace and did not factor.
