ALPHA BROOKE pressed the pace while two wide into the turn, rallied on the turn and was in a long drive and was best in the end. CONSTITUTION LADY rallied on the turn while three wide, was gaining ground and was second best in the end. DANZIG UP A STORM raced three wide on the turn then made a bid but was no menace in late stretch. FLEW BY YOU set a pressured pace from the inside, was in a long sustained drive but weakened in late stretch. BLOW SUM SMOKE raced three wide on the turn then failed to menace. SNOWTRICK was inside going into the turn and stumbled badly and was pulled up by the rider and van off. A steward's inquiry was held concerning the run into the turn.
