Chart notes
NAUGHTY ALFRED rated outside WILDWOOD SECRET early, moved clear when allowed after two furlongs, stayed off the rail taking the bend, drifted out into the lane, was asked upper stretch and lengthened command while under a drive the last eighth. BRAVO BRAVO chased from inside, made his bid along the rail on the turn, took over second, floated out some entering the stretch, was no match for NAUGHTY ALFRED the final furlong and started to drift out with a sixteenth left. MEDAL OF FACT bumped with WILDWOOD SECRET at the start, raced in contention from outside on the backstretch, did not keep up two wide on the turn, fanned out some for the stretch run, gained third then could only pull away for the show late. WILDWOOD SECRET bumped with MEDAL OF FACT at the break, vied for the early lead from inside, did not stay with NAUGHTY ALFRED after a quarter mile, angled out on the bend, came widest into the stretch and steadily gave way.
