Chart notes
AFRICAN WARRIOR was off slowly, rated of the early pace, moved up from the outside through the stretch run and got up under steady handling. BAYOU BEAUX chased the pace from the outside, led briefly in the stretch run and couldn't hold off the winner late to finish second best. AUTOCRATIC settled off the early pace, raced six wide into the upper stretch and made a good late bid. SPEEDY G pressed the pace while racing between rivals and weakened in the drive. SILKY'S DANCE was slow early on, raced five wide around the far turn and had not enough in the lane. CRAFTY HEAT settled off the early going, raced near the inside in the stretch run and lacked a rally. VEGAS GUY vied for the early lead from the inside and tired readily.
