UPGRADE shied out at the start and was a bit sluggish early conceding four lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased five then four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch and made no impact. SURPRISE PAYOFF broke sharply and outwards at the start, chased four wide forwardly placed, came under coaxing at the three-eighths and faded, went six wide into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
