Chart notes
BRONZE WARRIOR saved ground setting the pace, drifted out slightly entering the stretch, responded to pressure and maintained a safe advantage. CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT was unhurried early, moved up along the inside on the turn, slipped through during the drive and finished fast. ROCKY TOUGH was pinched back at the start, then worked his way forward along the inside on the back stretch, angled out for room nearing the stretch and finished willingly. ALPINE HYPNOSIS was five-wide throughout and passed tiring rivals. WINE AT NINE broke out, then was prominently placed racing 3-wide on the turn and weakened. FRANKS FIX IT broke in, then was forwardly place for a half mile from between horses and tired. MOJAVE forced the pace for a half mile while two-wide and stopped.
