Chart notes
TEXAS LONHRO took back off of the early dueling pacesetters, raced outside of rivals through the turn, mounted a five to six wide rally in upper stretch, came within aim in mid-stretch, took command late and charged home in the end. HULA KING showed good early speed and dueled for early pace duties, disputed the quick pace through the turn, shook free nearing mid-stretch, was overtaken nearing the sixteenth-marker but stayed on to be second best. OUR EMPIRE was asked to show early speed and contested the quick pace through the turn, lost ground in upper stretch, remained in contention to mid-stretch and gave way in the final stages, while holding safely at the end for third. TIME IS GONE raced close to the early pace, vied for the lead into the turn, lost ground three wide nearing the quarter marker and dropped back in the stretch run. SPEEDY TRIP broke alertly and showed good early speed, contested the pace to the turn, pressed the leaders to the quarter marker, was outrun in upper stretch and tired in the late stages.
