Chart notes

WATER PATROL was allowed to settle on the inside down the backstretch then made a late rally from three wide in upper stretch and battled inside of CLIFTON PARK to the wire and held on for the win. CLIFTON PARK was unhurried in the early and middle stages from the two path made a move in the final turn to go four wide in upper stretch to challenge WATER PATROL from outside to the wire and just missed. BAUDETTE BLIZZARD settled in the middle of the pack from the two path around the first turn then trailed the field through the final turn and passed tiring rivals in the stretch drive. LADDIE BOY chased the leader to the final turn from the two path made a bid on the turn to lead briefly at the quarter pole and weakened. IOWA NATIVE was hustled away from the gate to take a clear lead and set most of the pace but tired at the three furlong pole and galloped home.
