Chart notes
MAIUS was roused to a clear lead to set all the pace and drew off in the stretch. CONVENTION was unhurried from off the rail to the final turn made a mild bid on the turn then angled out at the eighth pole and battled inside of HOLD TIGHT to be second best. HOLD TIGHT tracked the leaders from the inside down the backstretch made a two wide bid on the final turn couldn't fend off inside closer but fought gamely and just missed the place. RUN FOR MATTY raced near the back to the first turn then was hustled along to be placed off the pace in the two path down the backstretch but gave way at the quarter pole.
