Chart notes
HIGH TONE dueled from the inside of rival down the backstretch, dug in inside the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling in a determined run. BERNIE SPECIAL dueled from the outside of foe and finished gamely to the wire to just miss. RODESSA FLASH chased the early pace while racing just off the inside, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and finished willingly to the wire. BIG RESULTS chased the pace from the inside, continued an inside bid in the stretch run and had not enough late. CANDY SHOPPER coaxed along soon after the start, angled in race along the inside around the far turn and lacked a late rally. LUCKY BREAK was hustled along, raced three to four wide in the stretch run and lacked a bid. XANTHUS WRATH dropped back early, raced five wide through the upper stretch and never was a factor.
